Sally Lightfoot develops sturdy expedition sailing vessels designed to meet the challenges high latitude sailing will throw at them, yachts ready to go out and explore waters where others fear to tread. Our vessels´ interiors are highly comfortable, exploring distant shores does not require offers and compromises in this respect.
Sally Lightfoot B.V. was launched by Edo Ankum in June 2009, upon his return from a five year circumnavigation of Africa. With his initiative he combines a ten year carreer as a lawyer, a professional mariners education, and the experiences gained in his sailing years, exploring places remote and difficult to access.
