Sailing yacht Sally Lightfoot cruised around Africa in about five years. The trip inspired to start a professional expeditionsailing enterprise, organising adventurous explorations far off the beaten track. This section of the website provides you with information on our company Sally Lightfoot Ltd. and on the possibilities to book passage on one of our vessels. We prefer to see our passengers as active members of an expedition rather than guests expecting to be pampered.
Taking in the information you might think that our vessels are launched and have dispersed around the globe. Alas, this is not the current state of affairs. We have nevertheless presented the information for you to get a flavor of what is coming, and also to create awareness and interest in our company.
To be able to develop and expand our fleet we would like to get in touch with people not only interested to join us on an expedition later, but interested to support us financially by investing in one of our vessels. The Dutch government supports us already, allowing our investors very attractive tax depriciation benefits. With this Sally Lightfoot is the first and only Dutch shipping company able to promise her investors (liable to pay taxes under Dutch tax law) a full return of their cash input within one and a half years.
